The RTLB Service is part of the Ministry of Education Special Education 2000 policy and works in accordance with ‘Resource Teachers Learning & Behaviour (RTLB): Policy & Toolkit: Ministry of Education, 2007’

It provides support for Year 1 – 10 students within the school/class learning environments. All Resource Teachers: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) are New Zealand registered teachers.

The Remuera Cluster is based at Orakei School and provides service for students in state-funded schools within the Eastern Suburbs of Auckland.

The RTLB in the Remuera Cluster:

• Are accountable to the Principal of Orakei School.
• Work collaboratively with staff and/or students.
• Liaise with students’ families/whanau and other agencies.
